COACH BACKGROUND CHECKS
KYSL utilizes GotSport as our league operation tool. Schedules, player registration as well as coach registration is done through the web based tool.
ALL coaches who currently have a team MUST have completed the Safesport training, concussion protocols, as well as a mandatory background check.
If you have not done these item successfully you need to do them ASAP. Failure to do so will inhibit your ability to coach your team this week and on game day.
KYSL is conducting our 2023 coach audit to ensure our compliance with Arizona Soccer. This is safety for all the players.

Parking for Opening Ceremonies
Parking will be a challenge Friday evening. We have our ceremonies as well as the Charity Softball Tournament. Centennial Park will be in full use for resident and visitors.Kingman Academy Middle school had gratefully granted us an exception to park in their lot as overflow. We are grateful for the assistance. Please be courteous. Players need to be there around 5:30-545PM to find their team and line up. Please try to be early. Ceremonies will begin PROMPTLY at 6PM.

Temporary Practice Field Limitation
Coaches – Immediate Field Limitation
For all practices this week 9/5-9/7 and 9/11-9/14 the U12 field is off limits and not to be used.
This limitation is for the actual lined field. We need to let the grass catch up and the field to catch up.There are additional areas for practice. Please be aware we are limited in space at this time due to multiple different sports use of the park. Coaches be aware that many teams are trying to find space and be considerate with the limited space. Field 4 (softball) is available for use after 530
2023 Medal Contest
The winner has been selected and the winning design will be showcase here. Keep and eye out at opening ceremonies .
Rosters are Delivered
Roster have delivered to your coaches. You should start hearing from them by the end of the weekend. Please be patient as all of our coaches are volunteers and have obligations outside of KYSL.
Practices will begin next week at Lewis Park , Green Hole and Pawnee park for younger players and Centennial Park for older players. Be on the lookout for coach emails, calls and text.
Make-up Coaches Meeting
For all those coaches that were not able to make the past coaches meeting you need to attend this one. You this attendance is required to get you Coach Incentive Credit
